Gartner has released its latest Magic Quadrant report on the IoT and M2M space, imaginatively titled "Magic Quadrant for Managed M2M Services, Worldwide." In this report, KORE Wireless -- for whom ThreeTwelve Creative functions as lead global agency -- has risen from being in the Niche quadrant of IoT solution providers into the Challenger quadrant and in fact are positioned very close the to sought-after Leader category.
For placement on the Magic Quadrant, Gartner evaluates companies along a vertical axis of "Ability to Execute" and a horizontal axis of "Completeness of Vision." KORE scored higher on the Ability to Execute axis than major industry players like Verizon, and in a field of IoT industry leaders was surpassed on that axis only by giants AT&T, Vodafone and Telefónica. KORE earned this position because of its Gartner-recognized ability to support multi-national corporations of any size in efforts to field and maintain IoT initiatives -- an impressive feat, indeed.
On the horizontal axis, KORE was edged out by Verizon and Deutsche Telekom, and this is perhaps the most exciting news for us as an agency -- because helping KORE realize and then execute on completeness of vision is exactly what the ThreeTwelve / KORE partnership is all about. In partnership with KORE we've created their People Powering IoT vision, and are implementing various internal and external campaigns with them across their corporation. Their employees are empowered by the message, excited to know that the company values them as the people making the brand a reality, and eager to live up to the slogan. Potential clients know, at a glance, who KORE are and what they do.
Continuing to execute on this vision while at the same time further strengthening internal structures that fulfill the brand promise creates the very real probability that KORE will leapfrog Verizon and Deutsche Telekom into the Visionary category in the near future, and I'm proud of the role that I and my agency will play in that.
My name is David, and I'm a giant-killer.
